Om VHS
Verket för högskoleservice är en myndighet som i första hand hjälper universitet och högskolor att genomföra antagningar. Vi tar emot anmälningar och sorterar på digital väg fram det antal behöriga studenter som kan få plats på den utbildning de sökt. En annan viktig uppgift är att vi bedömer utländska gymnasiebetyg för den som vill söka utbildning eller arbete i Sverige. Förutom dessa tjänster omfattar vår verksamhet också andra typer av service. Vi utvecklar och förvaltar digitala informationssystem, bland annat har vi själva byggt vårt egna, unika antagningssystem. Dessutom erbjuder vi specialisthjälp med upphandlingar och inköpsprocesser, något som gör det enklare för myndigheter och verk att göra opartiska och noga värderade val av leverantörer.

About VHS/Swedish Agency for Higher Education Services
The Swedish Agency for Higher Education Services is a government authority with the prime directive of assisting Swedish higher education institutions with the admission process. We receive and process admission applications, using digital means to determine which students have the qualifications necessary to be accepted into the course or programme they have selected. Another important task is the evaluation of foreign upper secondary school qualifications for those who wish to study or work in Sweden.
Our agency also provides other types of services. We develop and administer digital information systems, most notably our admission system that is unique in today’s information world. In addition, we lend our specialist expertise to questions regarding procurement and purchasing processes, making it easier for government authorities and agencies to carefully evaluate and choose suppliers in an impartial manner.
